Brown Sugar Chilli


This dish is a favorite of mine especially for a busy cold day. You can throw it in the crock pot and it turns into a great hearty meal that fills you up and is supprisingly low on points.


Serves 8

Points per serving: 4


1 28oz can crushed tomatoes

1 15oz can black beans

1 15oz can kidney beans

1 15oz can pinto beans

1 lb extra lean ground beef

1/2 white onion diced

1 Tbsp Chilli Powder

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp Black pepper

1/4 c Brown sugar


Brown the ground beef with the diced onion draining any excess fat. Then combine all ingredients in a crock pot or large sauce pan. Allow to simmer on low 4-5 hours

The longer you let the flavors combine the better it tastes.
